Kurume Kasuri is a very traditional form of hand weaving and dyeing. It is woven on narrow looms; finished fabric is only 37cm wide. The time, skill levels and patience in making these fabrics is reflected in the price, but it is for a very special, timeless piece of craftsmanship.
